You can make a difference in the fight against light pollution by joining NELPAG. There are no membership requirements — no applications, no dues, and no meetings to attend. We don't solicit money, and we won't "sell" or distribute your contact information.
All we ask is that you make an effort to stay informed about light-pollution issues by joining one or both of our e-mailing discussion groups:
NELPAG-discuss is for general discussion of outdoor-lighting issues in New England. Here you'll interact with lighting engineers, physicians, power-utility representatives, government officials, astronomers, journalists, and others on a wide range of topics.
NELPAG-announce is used to alert you to important lighting events and news in our region. Here's where you learn about recent light-pollution articles, upcoming legislative hearings, and other events.
